LES ALLIENES EXHIBITION
For the second time, Mobilier National asked different artists and designers to transform ordinary furniture into original contemporary creations.
After choosing a pair of Louis The first idea was to want to give a new lease of life to its seats by covering them with Nubuck-style leather marquetry with a graphic from our latest wall covering collection called KALEIDOSCOPE. After completely stripping the seats and stripping the wood, we recreated a rigid seat and back and then covered it entirely with leather. The leather was cut using a digital cutting machine. Then it was necessary to glue each small triangle of leather piece by piece to create this graphic pattern initially imagined thanks to photographic work.
